2025 Teal Run Committee

Shea Gerlinger
"I am excited to be returning as the run chair this year, which is special in so many ways. It is the Teal Run's 10th year, and September will also be my 5 year anniversary of being without evidence of disease. I am so thrilled to celebrate this milestone by building and helping the ovarian cancer community in the bay area."

Erna Arnesen
"The Teal Run holds a special place in my heart as I attended right after my diagnosis and surgery. The survivors and organizations gave me hope and encouragement at a critical time in my treatment. I want to support this special community of survivors who give back to others in their time of need."

Janna Rigby
"I wanted to be part of the TEAL committee because my first TEAL run was right after an infusion and I felt so much love and support from this community - even feeling crummy and only cheering from the sidelines. Now that I am a year and a half cancer free and can do the walk - I have to be a part of this supportive group!"

Kelly Ramirez
"My reason for being involved this year is because one of my sister's friends has been clear from the cancer for over 5 years, so here to cheer/support her and everyone else! I think it’s a great event and enjoyed it last year."

Sarah Hawkins
"My family and I started The Teal Run after my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and we wanted to have a day of hope, love and support for women and families dealing with the disease. I feel so fortunate to be able to work with such an amazing group of dedicated supporters and volunteers. I am honored to carry my mom’s voice forward to help make change happen for my two daughters and future generations to come."

Irina Stiasny
"I am proud to be part of the Teal Run Committee as a run coach because it allows me to combine my passion for running with my commitment to community health and wellness. Being able to guide and motivate others to achieve their fitness goals is incredibly rewarding. Plus, the Teal Run's mission to raise awareness and support for ovarian cancer resonates deeply with me, and I feel honored to contribute to such a meaningful cause."

Abiha Mehdi
"I am volunteering at the Teal Run because I am passionate about public health awareness and want to help raise the profile of ovarian cancer. Contributing to this cause allows me to support those affected and make a positive impact in my community."

Scarlett Gendrey
"As a Project Manager by trade and an avid runner, joining the Teal Run 2025 felt natural. It's an honor to support ovarian cancer research, promote early detection, and help build a compassionate community through this meaningful event."

Allison Ramiller
"I am so honored to be part of the Teal Run for the first time. Supporting my mom through her ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment transformed me into a passionate advocate for this community. I have found incredible comfort, inspiration, and purpose working side by side with amazing people dedicated to increasing support and funding."

Maria Filiberto
"I wanted to be involved in this years Teal Run because it’s a way for me to connect with a community of people who are affected by this disease, whether personally or dear family/friends, with the same goal of finding a cure. I just moved from Alabama and hoping to continue fighting for a cure that took my cousin Shay and had a huge impact on my grandmother Frances, who was a survivor of ovarian cancer. "
