CELEBRATING 10 YEARS
The Teal Run is a day of hope, love and support for women and families affected by ovarian cancer. It is more than just a race, it’s a celebration of resilience and the power of community.
Set along the scenic Los Gatos Creek Trail, this fun filled event is perfect for all ages. There will be a survivor ceremony, healthcare hero awards, face painting, photo booth, bubble show, art booth and so much more! Every participant will get a medal and be entered to win some fabulous raffle prizes. Lauren Martinez, from ABC7 News, hosts this special day.
ABOUT THE TEAL RUN
The Teal Run was started in 2015 by Laurie DeSimone and a group of select volunteers. Laurie wanted to promote a sense of community for ovarian cancer survivors, family and friends while also coming together to fundraise for research focusing on early detection of the disease with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Sadly Laurie passed away shortly after the inaugural run but her efforts continue through the work of The Teal Foundation.
The Teal Run has remained the only Bay Area running event dedicated to ovarian cancer awareness and support. Over 3,000 participants have united to raise over $500,000 for our event as well as ovarian cancer research and support services.
